CENTRAL BUCKS EAST GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Scott Geller (3rd year with program)

Assistant coaches: Brian Harvey / Bob Minschwaner

Last year’s record:

  • 10-2 League (Conference Champs), 14-5 Overall
  • Made it to second round of districts both of my two years with the program

Notable losses:

  • Hannah Lunak / Rachel Clow / Lindsay McIntosh

Key returners:

  • Lauren Helveston (Senior / Setter)
  • Bridget Terrel (Senior / Outside Hitter)
  • Kelly Guillen (Senior / Middle Block)

Strengths/Question Marks: 

  • With the key returning players from last year, as well as the new depth we’ve added this year, CB East should be a solid all around team.

Outlook:

  • The girls and I continue to raise the bar for ourselves every year.  This year we have put together a very strong schedule of teams to play.  We want to challenge ourselves day in and day out to continually get better.  We have a very special group this year and I’m excited to see what this season brings.
