Norristown softball won the American conference of the Suburban One League at home today against Upper Dublin 10-1. Eagles bats were on fire with 15 hits, led by Gabbie Berry (3 for 4 double & triple) & Shannon Melito (3 for 4). Also contributing to the eagles offense was Maggie Creciun (2 for 5 double), Kim Detwiler (2 for 4 double), & Daisy Foster (2 for 3). Foster pitched one of her better games this season with a complete game 5 hitter striking out 11. Upper Dublin's 1 run was unearned. Playing incredible defense was Shauna Byrnes & Shari Lynn Kluth taking multiple hits away from Upper Dublin with their catches in the outfield.
