Victor Delgado – Bloomsburg University (Football)
Major:
Criminal Justice
Final list of colleges:  Bloomsburg, West Chester, East Stroudsburg
Reasons for choosing Bloomsburg:  “The environment – when I went on my visit, it felt like more of a family. I was automatically linked, I felt more connected. Of course, college is business, but it felt more like a family. It felt better.”
What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football?  “I always wanted to go to college and play football, but I was always a small guy, so I was second guessing myself. As I was playing freshman and as I moved to sophomore and started varsity, I felt like – if I can play with 18-year-olds as a 15 or 16-year-old, I felt I could play in college as well.”
Coach Galen Snyder says:  “Victor is a three-year starter, and he was a captain. He’s a very good football player. He’s physical, and he’s a tone setter. He’s not real tall, but he’s got good athletic ability, and he has a real tough streak, and that’s the key as a football player.”
About Victor:
Favorite food:
Pizza
Favorite movie:  Remember the Titans
Favorite music:  Rap

Josh Leon – Bentley University (Football)
Major:
Undeclared, possibly Global Management
Final list of colleges:  Bentley, Lehigh, Penn State
Reasons for choosing Bentley:  “Bentley is mostly an all-business school, so it provides me with the best opportunity because I want to focus on business. They have a lot of courses that will provide education and knowledge in different areas.
“I went to a football camp at Bentley over the summer, and I started talking to the coaches. I went back in the fall, and they started recruiting me, and it helped me get into the school because the school is difficult to get in.”
What was the progression that led you to playing collegiate football?  “It was probably my junior year when I started varsity football. I used to play soccer, and I stopped playing soccer.  Football was a good fit for me because of the kicker-punter position, and I thought football would help me get into college, so I pursued it.”
Coach Galen Snyder says:  “Josh is an excellent kicker-punter. He handled both responsibilities for us. He did extra points, field goals, and he punted for us. He’s a very good player. We’ll definitely miss him. Josh is very talented. He’s going to do well in college.”
About Josh:
Favorite food:
Lasagna
Favorite movie:  American Sniper
Favorite music:  Hip Hop

Anthony Pitt – Shippensburg University (Football)
Major:  Undeclared
Final list of colleges:
Shippensburg, East Stroudsburg
Reasons for choosing Shippensburg:  “Shippensburg gave me the family atmosphere that we have here at Pennsbury. I felt like I was hanging out with the guys back at Pennsbury. It was just a great fit. It fit perfectly, and I loved coach Mac (Mark Maciejewski) who’s going to be my coach the next four years.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “After my junior season, after my first year starting – I never thought it was possible for me to play in college, but when I started getting mail and going on visits, it really became a possibility for me to further my career as a football player.”
Coach Galen Snyder says:  “He’s a two-year starter and also a captain. With Anthony, start off with his speed – he is probably the second fastest kid on the team right behind Charles Snorweah. He’s a good athlete with good speed.”
About Anthony:
Favorite food:
Chicken Parmesan
Favorite movie:  I Am Legend
Favorite music:  Hip Hop & Rap

Charles Snorweah – Rutgers University (Football)
Major:
Physical Therapy
Final list of colleges:  Rutgers, Pittsburgh
Reasons for choosing Rutgers:  “I just loved the whole atmosphere. I actually found Rutgers and Pitt to be similar when it came to football and education. Beyond football and my education, my bond with my teammates, family – all that was a factor for Rutgers. I just fell in love with it when I went there. I have a former teammate on the Rutgers team, and I know plenty of kids on the Rutgers team currently, and they’re just one whole brotherhood, and they make you feel like one of them. I just loved the coaches too – they’re a great part of it. They’re like your dad or your uncles.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level?  “In middle school, you’re playing football with your friends, you’re scoring a lot of touchdowns, so you always think when you get to high school the same thing is going to happen – you’re going to score a lot, you’re going to get offers. Going into my freshman year, I had the goal of going to a Division One college. Especially starting my freshman year, that made my hopes even bigger.
“As you learn, it takes time and patience to fully get your opportunity and develop. When I had the opportunity to take control of my team my junior year, I just ran with it. I ended up doing good. The coach put the ball in my hands a lot, and I am where I am now.”
Coach Galen Snyder says:  “Charles has got the combination of breakaway speed and an excellent work ethic. He’s another kid who’s just a tough football player. He has quite a combination of different things.”
About Charles:
Favorite food:
Rice
Favorite movie:  Friday
Favorite music:  Hip Hop and R&B
