Nik Banks – Albright University (Football)
Major: Physical Therapy
Reasons for choosing Albright: “Nice campus and good football team.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level? “I always loved the sport and always wanted to play. The recruiting process started my 10th grade year, and my coach helped me with everything.”
Coach Bob Rosenberger says: “Nik was a tremendous leader on and off the field for us last year. He is going to Albright as a slot wide receiver, but I wouldn't be shocked if they moved him around and maybe give him a shot on defense. He’s a hard worker who refuses to give anything less than his best. He will be successful at any position they play him. I'm looking forward to seeing him play in the years to come.”
About Nik:
Favorite food: Chipotle
Favorite movie: Remember the Titans
Favorite music: Country
Corey Schriver – Delaware Valley University (Football)
Major: Business
Final list of colleges: Del Val, Kutztown, Millersville
Reasons for choosing Del Val: “I felt at home, and I really liked the campus and coach.”
What was the progression that led you to playing football at the collegiate level? “It started with the staff change and coach Rosenberger came in. He taught me how to play and love the game. I started thinking about playing college when I had a good season my junior year.”
Coach Bob Rosenberger says: “I've been in coaching for 20 years and have NEVER seen a player as strong as Corey. He lived in the weight room last year, and it paid dividends for him this season. His technique improved every practice. He’s a lineman that you love to watch because he plays with that nasty streak in him that you want. He didn't just block players - he buried them. We ran behind him more than half of the time. He is going to DEL VAL, and I think he can compete for playing time IF he reports to camp in shape.”
About Corey:
Favorite food: Cheeseburger
Favorite movie: Interstellar
Favorite music: Anything but country.
