The Souderton Girls Volleyball team dropped a tough match against undefeated Lansdale Catholic on Monday night (19 - 25, 14 - 25, 27 - 25, 17 - 25). The Indians were led by Jess Bard and Jennie Mariani, who each had 10 kills. Bri McMichael, had a fantastic night defensively with 22 digs. The Indians (0 - 3, 0 - 1 Suburban One) travel to neighborhood rival North Penn Tuesday night at 7pm.

The Indians also participated in the Rams Rumble Tournament at Spring-Ford over the weekend. Souderton ended the day by going 2 - 6 in pool play, but avenged a loss to Christopher Dock by defeating them 2 - 0 in pool play. Jess Bard led the Indians with 18 kills and 4 blocks. Jennie Mariani added 10 kills and 15 digs. Jenna Hayes (7 kills) and Deanna Simpson (6 kills, 3 blocks) did a good job out of the middle. Bri McMichael anchored a solid Indian defense with 34 digs.
