Setter Carlye Odorisio, hitters Carolyn Helenski and Emma Andraka, along with the defense of Micaela Ghanayem, carried Upper Merion throughout the very long day. The team finished 5-2 in matches (wins over Whitehall, Bethlehem Freedom, Delaware Valley, Neshaminy, and Unionville; losses to Berks Catholic and Liberty) and 11-4 in games.
Helenski led the team in kills followed by Odorisio and Andraka. Odorisio led the team in assists and aces while Carolyn and Eden Wright led the team in blocks. Freshmen outside hitter Tori Wright contributed to the team’s success as did freshmen Danielle Chung, Kelly Moore and Katelyn O’Brien.
