PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, HATBORO-HORSHAM 1 (25-13, 25-10, 27-29, 25-21)
The Colonials rolled to an impressive win over the Hatters in American Conference play. Danielle Rippert had a big night at the net, finishing with 16 kills to go along with four aces. Emilee Waltz had a team-high four aces. Olivia Carbo anchored the defense with 25 digs while Bridget McTamney had 27 assists and four aces.

ABINGTON 3, CHELTENHAM 0
Setter Anna Bantner was credited with 24 assists to go along with six aces. Leah Simmons (eight kills, four digs) and Claire Gassman (six kills, five digs) led the Ghosts at the net. Gwen Lockery paced the defense with 13 digs, and Hannah Dalton added five kills.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0
Natalie Arm (six kills, seven aces, three digs), Jenn Krzeminski (seven kills, two blocks, two digs) and Devon Hall (five kills) led a balanced Patriot attack. Erin Lane had 13 digs to lead the defense. Setter Madie D’Angelo had 25 assists, four aces and six digs.
Coach Scott Geller also credited the solid defense of Krista Helveston (nine digs) and Emma Goll (four digs).
“It was a great way to end a tough week of matches,” the Patriots’ coach said. “I couldn’t be more proud of the way that we are playing right now.”
The Patriots (5-1, 3-0 SOL) remain perfect in conference play.

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, NORTH PENN 0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-22)
Setter Kayla King had a busy night, contributing 22 assists, five aces, three kills and 10 digs. April Neeld (six kills, one ace, seven digs, one block), Katie Hudson (five kills, five aces, two blocks), and Sophia Videva (four kills, five aces, one block) contributed to a balanced attack. Julia Schweibenz led the defense with 18 digs to go along with five kills. Kailey Prall had nine digs for the Bucks, who improved to 4-0 in conference play (5-0 overall).

UPPER DUBLIN 3, WISSAHICKON 0 (25-7, 25-11, 25-6)
The Flying Cardinals’ sweep of the Trojans was a team effort, according to coach Paul Choi. Bryn Stek led the Cards’ strong serving game with six aces while Maggie Weglos added five. Stek also dished out 31 assists and had five digs.
Four players had four kills or more, led by Jenny McAneney with 11 and Gabbi Johnson with 10. Five players also had at least five digs, led by josie Barrett with six.

UPPER MERION 3, NORRISTOWN 0

Thursday, Sept. 17
PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 2 (25-16, 25-13, 23-25, 17-25, 15-13)
The visiting Indians rallied from a 2-0 deficit to knot the score and force a fifth and deciding set, but it was the Lady Rams prevailing to earn the hard-fought win.
Steph Judkins turned in a stellar performance at the net, slamming home 28 kills. Maddie Mosser added seven kills and three blocks. Ana Vinantonio sparked the defense with 20 digs to go along with five aces. Caitlin Saalfrank also had a big game defensively with 19 digs. Setter Jessica Heckler had 41 assists.
For the Indians, Savannah Bostwick had a big game defensively, delivering 28 digs. Lauren Hamilton (15 assists) and Talia Watson (14 assists) split setting duties. Watson also had five aces. Leading the Indians at the net were Terry Wilcox (nine kills, eight digs), Melissa Gould (nine kills, two blocks), Molly McCarthy (four kills, three blocks) and Megan Pirtle (four kills). Riley Strenta had three aces.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, HATBORO-HORSHAM 0
Jenn Krzeminski had seven kills and two digs to lead a balanced Patriot attack. Natalie Arm had three kills, five aces and seven digs while Krista Helveston had four kills and 14 digs. Kate Woolsey chipped in with three kills while Erin Lane had 12 digs. Setter Madie D’Angelo had 24 assists, four aces and seven digs. Emma Goll had four digs.

WILLIAM TENNENT 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 1 (25-18, 28-30, 25-13, 25-15)
The Panthers dropped a wild second set that saw the Golden Hawks eke out a 30-28 win to even the score 1-1, but they bounced back to win the next two in convincing fashion.
“It was nice to see our team rebound from that loss and come back and win the match,” Tennent coach Brian Bassler said.
Setter Alexandria Koppany had 36 assists while Nicole Long led the attack with 11 kills.
For the Golden Hawks, sophomore Hannah Devlin had 10 assists and four aces, and sophomore Hannah Sullivan had five blocks and two kills. Freshman Bria DeSao had three aces and three kills.
