UNIVEST HOSTS CARING FOR COMMUNITY $5,000 GIVEAWAY

 

SOUDERTON, Pa., December 4, 2015 – Univest Corporation announced the fourth annual Caring for Community $5,000 Giveaway*, a contest that will award a $5,000 donation to a local, nonprofit organization. Previous winners were Bucks County SPCA, Vets for Vets and the Granny Project. This December, Univest is asking its customers and community members to determine which local nonprofit deserves financial support. Individuals may visit the Univest Facebook page to vote for the nonprofit of their choice. Each vote will count as an entry for the organization nominated. The winning organization will be selected at random from all entries.

 

The contest launched Monday, December 7, 2015 and runs through Thursday, December 31, 2015. To be eligible to win the $5,000, the nonprofit group must be aregistered 501 (c) (3) organization that operates somewhere in the Univest service area of Greater Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. Voting in Univest Corporation’s Caring for Community $5,000 Giveaway is open to all legal residents of the United States. The promotion runs from 9:00 a.m. ET on Monday, December 7, 2015 through 11:59 p.m. ET on Thursday, December 31, 2015. Participants may visit the Univest Facebook page to vote for the organization they support once per day. Each vote will count as an entry for the organization nominated. The winning organization will be selected at random from all entries. The winning organization must be a registered 501 (c)(3) organization that operates somewhere in the Univest service area of Greater Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley. The organization cannot be a previous winner of a Univest Corporation Caring for Community contest. Individuals and political candidates do not qualify. The winning organization will be contacted via phone. In the event a winning organization cannot be reached and/or does not respond by 5:00 p.m. on January 8, 2016, it forfeits the grant to the next organization with the most votes. Univest Corporation is not responsible for the organization’s availability or non-response. Univest Corporation reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the contest at any time.
