The Wissahickon girls swim team had an exciting meet against Plymouth Whitemarsh on Tuesday afternoon. For the first half of the meet the teams were neck and neck, Wissahickon only keeping about a two point lead throughout the half. Getting first and third in the 200 freestyle relay was exactly what Wiss needed to finish strong. Wissahickon won by only 14 points, with a final score of 92-78. This was a huge win for Wissahickon considering that PW beat them by over 40 points last year. Wiss won 9 out of the 11 events! The winners include: Amanda Zlotnikoff, Lili Xu, Ellie Alberti, Kelly Wild, Carly Zlotnikoff, Keara Monaghan, and Natalie Hoffmann. A special congratulations to Kelly Wild for getting a District One consideration time for the 200 free.
