Caitriona Fox – Albright College (Field Hockey)

Major:  Undecided

Reasons for choosing Albright:  “After visiting the campus and team multiple times, I knew it was the right choice for me. The campus was a perfect fit for me, and the coach and teammates made me feel extremely welcomed.

What was the progression that led you to playing field hockey at the collegiate level?  “My cousin played in college which got me thinking about it at an early age.”

Coach Rachel Schuster says:  “Caitriona is a huge part of our team – I always say that she brings the laughter. She doesn’t give up, and she sets a great example for the girls. She doesn’t take the shortcut, she’s at every practice, and she’s there to work. She truly loves the game, and it shows. She does everything she needs to do.”
“She plays midfield - she has great stick skills, and she can run forever. She was like my (defensive) center mid because we spent more time on defense, and she was there to get it out of the circle. She can run, so she can get up to offense very fast. She’s tall, and she has the stick skills to move as she goes.”
