Potential Stories:
Defending Girls Champions :
AA Girls - Villa Maria Academy (long unbroken streak of District One championships)
AAA Girls - North Penn (won last three years, favored for fourth straight)
Both are favored to repeat although Villa will face a strong challenge from Gwynedd Mercy with Allie Szekely, Hannah Blaser and Annie O'Dare, while North Penn is being groomed as a potential state champion. Pennridge looks to be the favorite in AAA to collect the most gold medals with Morgan Scott, Hannah Zurmuhl and Brittany Weiss. Also watch out for Maddie Hart from Haverford.
Defending Boys Champions :
AA Boys - Lower Moreland
AAA Boys - North Penn (won last two years)
These meets should be much more competitive for the team title. In AA Lower Moreland will be challenged by Springfield and Upper Moreland, whereas North Penn faces a strong challenge from Upper Dublin, which returns Michael Jensen, two time state champion and state record holder in the 200 Free.
