10th PIAA Foundation XC Invitational
Souderton senior Connor McMenamin posted a second place finish out of 307 runners in the prestigious Boys’ Gold Division with a time of 17:07. Pennsbury senior Eric Kersten also earned a top 10 finish, finishing eighth with a time of 16:37. In the team standings, Central Bucks East was the top SOL finisher in eighth place with 330 points, and Pennsbury was 11th with 390 points. North Penn (19th), Souderton (20th), Quakertown (28th) and Bensalem (29th) also competed in the 44-team field.
In the Girls’ Gold Division, Cheltenham junior MaryGrace Rittler was the lone SOL runner in the top 10, placing sixth with a time of 19:05. Central Bucks West’s 10th place finish out of 45 schools was the top SOL team finish. Central Bucks East was 14th, Pennsbury finished 15th, Pennridge was 22nd and Cheltenham was 32nd.
