Hatboro-Horsham Defeated Great Valley in PAC-10 Final Four
The Lady Hatters pulled out a 5-stroke victory over Great Valley in the semifinals of the Pioneer Athletic Conference Final Four, winning 209-214 at Old York Road Country Club on the Par 37 front nine.
Freshman Annie Griffith came in from the last group with a 57 to cinch the win in a tie match to guarantee Hatboro-Horsham a spot in the District One Girls’ Golf Championships. Cassidy Gavaghan led all players with a 44. Hailey Phillips played solid golf on the way in, carding a 51, and freshman Sheila Fisher posted a 57 for the winning score of 209.
The Lady Hatters will play for the PAC-10 title Thursday against Downingtown West at Macoby Run (2 p.m.).
