The scoreless first half was not indicative of the tough battle during the half. CB East had 4 corners and Downingtown West had 2. The second half the Patriots capitalized on a pass into the circle from Riley Donnelly and deflection into the cage by Cailey Lever. The lead didn’t last long and Downingtown scored to tie the game. Then Downingtown finished with another goal on a corner, which turned out to be the game winner. This was a reversal of the first match where CB East won from behind in OT.
