STERLING LIMOUSINE AND TRANSPORTATION
PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Sterling Limo Players of the Week:
First star: Reece Udinski, North Penn – The senior quarterback turned in his finest performance of a brilliant season to lead North Penn to a 38-28 win over Garnet Valley in the District One 6A title game. Udinski completed 23-of-28 passes (82.1 percent) for 447 yards and four touchdowns.
Coach Dick Beck says: “I would say there’s never been a better performance than what Reece did on that field. He was amazing – throwing strikes, really making sure decisions pre-snap, knowing where the ball goes, and he did it under a lot of duress and pressure from their front seven. The game that Reece had was just off the charts, off the charts.”
Second Star: Ricky Johns, North Penn – The West Virginia-bound senior wide receiver was all but unstoppable in North Penn’s win 38-28 win over Garnet Valley. Johns had eight catches for 269 yards and one touchdown. He also had 40 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Coach Dick Beck says: “For Ricky to get open so many times and to run such precise routes, I think it was big for Reece because when you’re doing that type of timing, when you’re getting pressure and you know you’ve got to be able to throw it and make that snap decision – if Ricky doesn’t run the right route, if he doesn’t make the right angle on his cut, it’s an incompletion. Ricky has been a big-time player for us all year. We expect that from Ricky.”
