Council Rock South senior Stephanie Andreoli has committed to continue her softball career at DeSales University.

Reasons for choosing DeSales: “I chose DeSales because of its outstanding academics and competitive athletics. As soon as I met the team and coaches and walked around the campus, I knew that this was where I wanted to spend my next four years.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in softball at the collegiate level? “I started to think about playing in college when I was in eighth grade. I attended many college softball camps and played in college showcase tournaments with my travel team.”
Coach Greg Heydet says: “Stephanie has been a varsity player since her freshman year. Her freshman year she was second on the team in batting, and her sophomore and junior years she led the team. She’s been our leadoff hitter, and she’s a gamer. She pitches and plays center field for us. She’s a total asset to South softball. All she wants to do is win, and she’ll do whatever. She also listens. She had a bad game the other day, and we changed her stance a little bit, and she went 4-for-4 (in the next game) with two home runs and two singles. She wants to do well, and she wants to help everyone.”
