COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, HARRY S TRUMAN 0 (25-9, 25-10, 25-17)
The Indians earned a sweep of the Tigers in their first home match of the season. Outside hitter Alyssa Coats had eight aces, 10 digs and three kills. Freshman outside hitter Mary Baniewicz added three kills, five digs and one ace, and senior setter Julia D’Apolito contributed seven assists, four aces, four digs and two kills. Leading the Indians’ defense was libero Jill Schweizer with 28 digs and one ace.

COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-6, 25-9, 25-11)
In their sweep of the Owls, the Golden Hawks were led by Paige O’Connell (seven aces, five assists, 10 digs), Lauren Koesteler (three kills, four digs) and Samantha Tomasi (two kills, 14 digs).

PENNSBURY 3, NESHAMINY 0 (25-16, 25-7, 25-10)
Julia Vreeswyk’s 10 kills led a balanced Falcon attack in a sweep of the Redskins. The senior outside hitter also had four services aces and two digs. Sydney Buell added seven kills and two aces. Heather Linker’s six service aces led a standout service game that featured 18 aces. She also had three digs. Ashley Parry added three aces while Kiley Buckman had a pair of aces and two digs. Buckman also had 13 assists.

SOL Continental

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, ABINGTON 1 (22-25, 25-15, 25-16, 25-16)
The Ghosts won the first set but the Colonials responded by winning the next three. Lily Acquaviva was all but unstoppable at the net, finishing with 20 kills to go along with two aces and 25 digs. Megan Peuser (eight kills, one block) and Taylor O’Brien (nine kills, six blocks, six digs) also made important contributions at the net. Setter Bridget McTamney had a busy night, handing out 50 assists and also collecting 22 digs. Emilee Waltz led the defense with 29 digs.

SOUDERTON 3, QUAKERTOWN 1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-9, 25-20)
The Indians evened their record at 1-1 with a win over the Panthers. Setter Talia Watson had 28 assists and four aces. Tori Reiner had a huge night at the net, finishing with 17 kills. Maria Iervolino also came up big, delivering 11 kills, 12 digs and two aces. Haley Novak contributed six kills, 10 digs and three aces. Bella Mazzeo had 12 digs and five aces, and Becca Godshall had seven digs. Erin Brady contributed three blocks.
Souderton will take on North Penn on Friday afternoon.

UPPER DUBLIN 3, NORTH PENN 1 (25-22, 25-20, 11-25, 25-23)
Bryn Stek had a big night for the Flying Cardinals, contributing seven service aces, 10 kills, 30 assists and 16 digs. Maggie Weglos was a force to be reckoned with at the net, finishing with 15 kills. She also came up huge defensively with 24 digs to go along with two aces. Kara Grebe added four kills, one block, one assist and one dig. Sarah Sharp had one ace, seven assists and 13 digs, and Shannon Yoast had one ace, five kills and seven digs.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 1 (25-11, 23-25, 25-19, 25-19)
The Patriots turned in a great team effort, winning the first set and rallying to win two more after the Titans earned a win in the second set.
"(We) came out with a strong serving in game one, but I give credit to CB South for their fight and how they came out in the second game and kept us on our toes," East coach Kerri Rabberman said.
For the Patriots, Anna Ritter contributed two aces, one kill and 35 assists. Jenn Krzeminski led the offense and defense at the net with 16 kills, four blocks. She also had five aces and 10 digs. 
"Makaila Freeman played very smart volleyball with five kills and one block," Rabberman said.
Aurora Budson contributed five kills and one block. The Patriots' coach credited Morgan Bleakley for playing "amazing defense" with 20 digs. Morgan D'Angelo contributed 12 digs. Vivien Agassi had three aces and two kills, and Ysabelle Minschwaner had two aces, eight kills and five digs. 
"Courtney Woolslayer came in with a spark on serve receive and defense," Rabberman said. "I am very proud of the girls for never giving up and playing together. We are going to continue every day, and this is a great start."

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-5, 25-6, 25-12)
For the Panthers, Maggie Dougherty had one kill and nine digs, and Melanie Gottlieb had 14 assists.

MOUNT ST. JOSEPH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 2 (25-22, 25-17, 19-25, 20-25, 9-15)
The Bucks lost a grueling five-set match to the Magic in a classic non-league battle. Three West players finished the match with double-digit kills. Katie Hudson led the way with 15 kills to go along with two aces and 14 digs. Mackenzie Brooks had 12 kills and four digs, and Amanda Mass had 10 kills and eight digs. Setter Ana Claricurzio handed out 40 assists and also had two kills, two aces and 15 digs. Maggie Winderman added 38 digs. Tenley Mileski (three aces, 11 digs) and Casey Taylor (four kills, one ace, five digs) also contributed.
