SOL Girls' Volleyball Wrap (9-16-17)

PENNSBURY 3, GARNET VALLEY 1 (25-21, 25-22, 17-25, 25-14)
Garnet Valley wears the title of defending PIAA Class 4A champion. On Saturday, the Falcons earned an impressive win over the visiting Jaguars, and it took stellar efforts from the team’s stars to do it.
Julia Vreeswky slammed down 18 kills and also had six digs while Sydney Buell had 16 kills and a team-high 16 digs. Setter Kiley Buckman handed out 40 assists and also had five digs, two kills and two service aces.
Elley Torres had a team-high three aces as well as seven digs and three kills. Heather Linker had four digs and one service ace.

WEST CHESTER HENDERSON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 1 (26-28, 23-25, 25-18, 21-25)
The visiting Patriots came up short, but coach Kerri Rabberman had no complaints about her team’s performance.
“This was a great day of playing for the girls,” the Patriots’ coach said. “Henderson is a very impressive team and there were many long rallies. I saw my girls do things today that they haven't done. The constant growth is very promising.”
Jenn Krzeminski had a great game with 21 kills and three blocks as well as her defense back row. Anna Ritter had 32 assists. Morgan Beakley had great serving and defense with 12 digs while Ysabelle Minschwaner also played great defense with 12 digs and included two kills. Makaila Freeman had seven kills and one block while Vivien Agassi added five kills. Morgan D'Angelo also contributed great defense with seven digs.

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, RIDLEY 0 (25-17, 25-16, 25-12)
The Patriots rolled to a sweep of the Green Raiders to earn a split in Saturday’s tri-match.
“I am so impressed with how my girls played this game,” coach Kerri Rabberman said. “Very consistent and minimum on errors. This was a true team effort with a contribution from everyone on the team.”
Jenn Krzeminski had another standout game with 15 kills, 7 digs and two blocks, Makaila Freeman also had an amazing game with 10 kills. Anna Ritter contributed 32 assists with three aces and six digs. Morgan D'Angelo played an impressive back row with 12 digs and two aces while Morgan Beakley was solid with nine digs. Vivien Agassi had one ace, seven digs and seven kills while Ysabelle Minschwaner had four kills and one ace with four digs. Courtney Woolslayer, Julie Byrne and Gina Feliz, according to Rabberman, also had great contributions during this game.
