Colonials win! Next stop: Chambersburg!

On Saturday March 20,2010, 12-3 Roman Catholic took on 1-2 Plymouth Whitemarsh in the PIAA,AAAA, Boys Basketball State quarterfinal game at Villanova University. The Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials won,54-46, and will face District 7-4th place North Alleghany at Chambersburg High School on Wednesday March 24,2010 in a State semi-final game. PW Junior Jaylen Bond came into this game with 999 career points, and scored his 1,000th career point on a 3rd quarter lay-up against Roman Catholic. C.J. Aiken led the Colonials with 22 points, the most points he has posted in playoff action this season. Rakeem Brokins, who scored 12 of Roman Catholic's first 15 points, led the Cahillites with 22 points, including 10 for 10 from the foul line. Roman Catholic finishes their season with a 18-9 record, while the PW Colonials continue their season with a record of 28-2.
