Continental Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Players
Bailey McManus, Senior, Central Bucks East High School
Note from the coach:
“Bailey is a four-year starter, co-captain and the only returning starter from last year's team,” coach Liz Potash said. “Bailey is the epitome of what we're looking for in our program; she is committed, dedicated, intense, selfless and is a fantastic teammate. I can count on one hand the number of times that Bailey has missed anything for basketball over the last four years, whether it's a summer open gym, team camp or an off-season weight room session; she is as dedicated and committed as they come. On top of that, she is a tremendous player; she's a scorer, defender and serves as a coach on the floor. It has been a true privilege to have the opportunity to have coached Bailey, she sets the standard high for all that follow.”
About Bailey:
Best memory playing basketball: Beating Easton in the first round of states junior year
Part of the game I enjoy most: Assists - because nothing feels better than when you have a nice pass and your teammates score.

Favorite TV show: Grey’s Anatomy
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party: Billy Joel, Amelia Earhart, Leonardo DiCaprio, Allen Iverson
Sami Falencki, Senior, Souderton Area High School
Note from the coach:
“I’ve known Sami since she was in my sixth grade math class, and it’s been great to watch her grow and mature over the years,” coach Lynn Carroll said. “I am a firm believer that good kids and good leaders have a positive impact on programs long after they’ve left the program and Sami is one of those kids. Her example of hard work, selflessness, focus and positivity add so much to the team. If Sami is not in a game, she is constantly cheering on and encouraging her teammates. She’s accepted every role that I’ve given her and really is the epitome of team player.”
About Sami:
Best memory playing basketball: When the fire alarm went off at Quakertown minutes before the state playoff game against CB South, and we all had to evacuate the school.
Part of the game I enjoy most: I love stepping in and taking charges.
My role model is: Kobe Bryant because his work ethic on the court and in life inspires me to push myself in anything and everything that I do.
Music that gets me pumped before games: Mainly Rap and R&B
Favorite Food: Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak
Favorite TV Show: The Vampire Diaries
Four people I’d invite to a dinner party: Post Malone, Ryan Reynolds, Barack Obama and Pat Summitt
American Conference Millennium Administrators Highlighted Player
Sydney Ott, Senior, Wissahickon High School
Note from the coach:
“If I could make every player like Sydney, I would,” coach Rodney Cline said. “She’s the first one at the gym, she’s the last one to leave. She’s the most unselfish player – she stays in her lane, and she’s such a team player. She’s somebody who works hard, and she wants to get better and better every day. She’s so coachable. She’s just a great kid to have. She’s my intern at the high school, so I’m around every day. She’s a blessing to have as an intern and also as a player. I’m very fortunate to have a player like her. The parents have done a fantastic job because she and her sister are just great kids. I’m going to miss her. I want more players like her. I wish every player was like her.”
About Sydney:
Best memory playing basketball: Hitting the game-winning shot at the Upper Merion Holiday Christmas tournament last year to win the championship.
Part of the game I enjoy most: Being surrounded by my teammates and being able to have fun on and off the court.
My role model is: My mom. She is always doing the right thing and leading by example. She has helped me through everything and set me up for success. With everything I devote myself to, I want to make her proud.
