Abington won their first league game of the season on the road at William Tennent. In a three game set Abington won 25-22, 25-20 and 25-18. The defense was tough tonight, picking up a lot of good hits as well as getting a lot of great blocks. Sean Dougherty had 31 digs, Jacob Brandt had 10 digs and Charlie Viola had 7 digs. Juan Perez had 8 blocks while Danny Gonzalez, Jason Lockhart and Peter Dougherty each had two blocks. Offensively the Ghost's were led by Danny Gonzalez with 16 kills, Josh Harkins with 7 kills, Shane Collins with four kills as well as Jason Lockhart, Juan Perez and Peter Dougherty with two kills each. The match ended with a solid dig from TJ Dougherty, which allowed Sean Dougherty to set Shane Collins on the right side for the final kill of the night tipping of the block and falling to the ground.
