NORTH PENN 3, UPPER DUBLIN 2 (25-21, 22-25, 25-16, 21-25, 15-7)
The Knights edged the Flying Cardinals in a tightly contested match.
Setter Drew Coles spread the ball around with 41 assists, seven digs and two kills. Evan Rothman (11 kills, five digs), Michael Wang (11 kills, 20 digs, two aces), Kevin Abraham (nine kills, two blocks, four digs) and Zach Jayes (one ace, five blocks, eight kills, eight digs) led the way for the Knights. Deval Patel led the defense with 34 digs and one ace. Isaac Lambert added two aces, three kills and four digs.
For the Flying Cardinals, Mario Petushi led the way with 15 kills, five aces, 25 digs and one block. Setter Longan Loi had a busy night, handing out 40 assists to go along with one ace, two kills, one block and nine digs. Max Adams added 20 digs and one ace, and Blake Bayles had 11 kills, one ace, three blocks and four digs. Also contributing were Alec Madden (three kills, one block), Ciaran Sutherland (four kills, 11 digs), David Lillo (four kills, one block) and Joey Levin (one kill, six digs).
SOUDERTON 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-22)
The Indians earned a sweep of the visiting Titans.
“It started out back and forth – we would get a point or two, and they would get a point or two,” coach Dave Stastny said. “We were able to be more consistent as the set went on and won the first one 25-21. We stayed consistent in the next two sets to win 3-0.”
Ben Campman led the Indians with 19 kills and 13 digs. Harshil Desai had 11 digs, and Luke Pagan had five blocks.
The Titans were playing without their starting setter, which, according to coach Matt Ehlers, allowed them to juggle the lineup. Sophomore Brandon Wisniewski had a chance to play with varsity for the first time and played well, recording four assists and two digs. Middle blocker Aidan O'Brien, according to Ehlers, had an awesome match with nine blocks, four kills and two digs. Other team leaders included Jake Monson (seven kills, one block and three digs) and Mason Zeo (one ace, three kills, one block and 11 digs).
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-20)
Setter Adam Klapper spread the ball around in the Bucks sweep of the Panthers, finishing with 32 assists and six digs. Cole Nagle led a balanced attack with 10 kills to go along with 12 digs. Eli Gibson had eight kills and 15 digs, and Austin Cervasio contributed six kills and three blocks. Liam Baxter had five kills and two blocks.
For the Panthers, Josh Moyer had six kills while Logan Spieker, Nathan Barkholz and Cameron Cronk each had four. Justin Flor added three kills, and setter Zach Frei had 18 assists, three kills and two aces.
COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 3, ABINGTON 1
The Ghosts lost on the road to Council Rock South in a four-game set. Danny Gonzalez had 20 kills, Shane Collins had six, Josh Harkins had three and Jason Lockhart and Peter Dougherty each had two kills. Sean Dougherty had 19 digs and two assists, Ross Armon had four digs, and Toulant Kurti, Charlie Viola and Jacob Brandt all had two digs each. TJ Dougherty had 32 assists, two blocks and a kill.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-22)
East was led at the net by Erik Coombs (five kills), Jacob LaBouliere (three kills, six digs, two aces) and CJ Dalby (three kills, five digs). Carter Haban dished out 18 assists, and Vishum Desai added two kills and four digs. Also contributing for the Patriots were Jack Miller with a kill and three aces, Pete Chiaravallo with a kill and an ace and Ryan Figus with three digs.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-19)
Setter Nick Baniewicz dished out 20 assists to go along with five digs, two aces and .5 blocks. Jack Gunshenan had seven kills, five digs and one ace, and Justin Burn also had seven kills to go along with three digs and one ace. Sean D’Arcy added five kills to a balanced attack. He also had two aces and one block. Eddie Mancinelli had five digs and one ace, and Kevin D’Arcy chipped in three kills, one ace and .5 block. Also contributing were Justin Walton (one kill, two digs, one ace), Will Hewitt (one kill, one block), Vytis Duncia (one kill) and Chase McCaulley (one asssit).
PENNSBURY 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-12, 25-8, 25-7)

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 2 (25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 26-28, 15-11)
The visiting Patriots had the undefeated Indians on the ropes, rallying from a two-set deficit to even the match at 2-2 after winning a grueling fourth set, 28-26. The Indians rebounded to win the fifth set to remain perfect on the season.
Harry Wyatt and Jack Funshenan (14 kills, five digs, one ace, .5 block) both had big nights at the net. Setter Nick Baniewicz had 32 assists, five digs, two kills and two aces. Eddie Mancinelli had 10 digs and one assist. Justin Burns had six kills, five digs and two blocks, and Will Hewitt had 3.5 blocks and two kills. Keven D’Arcy (two kills, two assists, one block), Sean D’Arcy (three kills, one block) Vytis Duncia (one kills), Herby Boucard (one block) and Justin Walton (one dig) all contributed.
Jacob LaBoulliere led a dynamic defense for East, picking up 20 digs and adding an assist and an ace. Setter Steve Storm directed the offense, tallying 45 assists while adding four kills and five digs. Carter Haban and Dylan Colbert had big nights. Each registered 17 kills while Haban added 16 digs and Colbert nine digs. Andrew Bennett added 15 digs and seven kills, and Christian Wolf and Thomas Gallagher-Teske combined for six kills and five blocks.
