The Hatboro-Horsham Hatters rode the strong right arm of sophomore starting pitcher Benny Wilson to a 3-2 win in their final SOL American Conference game of 2018 at Cheltenham.

Wilson pitched a complete game going all 7 innings and allowing 2 runs, both earned in the first inning, on 4 hits and 1 walk, while striking out 7.

The Hatters offense was led by senior CF Jake Mayson who went 2-2 with a walk and a run scored. Sophomore 1B Anthony Bruno had the go ahead RBI in the 5th inning when he doubled to score sophomore Jake Bianchini. Junior SS Josh Heebner had 2 RBI on the day, including an RBI groundout that scored Mayson to tie the game in the 5th inning.

The Hatters (7-12 Overall, 6-8 SOL American) are scheduled to play at Ben Hostelly Field on Friday night at 7:30 against North Penn in the last game of the year.
