Kevin Ballester pitched three innings of excellent relief, striking out 7, to earn the win. Bryan Dean knocked in the game winner in the bottom of the 9th, scoring Ron McPherson. John Burns had three hits and Dean and Ballester both had two RBI's.
Conwell Egan Comments
Matthew Petrizzi had three hits including a home run and had 4 RBI's. Chris Purr also homered and Andrew Schaeffer had two doubles to pace Egan's offense. Matt Fleming threw well in 5 1/3 innings of relief, allowing only one earned run.
