Renee Reynolds – DeSales University (Softball)

Major – Early Childhood Education

Reasons for choosing DeSales:  “I chose DeSales because it has a great education program, and I just loved the professors for the major.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in softball at the collegiate level?  “I’ve always wanted to play softball in college. I’ve been playing since t-ball, and I just always loved the sport.”

Coach Ellie White says:  “Renee is the type of player that every coach wants on their team. She leads by example, and she was a terrific captain for us this year. She’s so versatile that she started the season as our second baseman and then I moved her over to shortstop. She has the ability to play every position on the field except for pitcher, which she probably thinks she could do if I ever gave her a chance. She loves working hard because she always wants to get better. I’m excited to go watch her play at the next level where I know she will do great things. She will be missed.”
