The football team welcomed MLK on Friday for their season home opener. After having trade of punts and a 0-0 score at the end of the first quarter, MLK scored first to take a 6-0 lead at the half, the Trojans showed heart and perseverance as they battled to tie the school, but fell 26-0. The defense provided big hits and stops to give the team a chance to pull out the victory. The defensed was paced by Raejon Benjamin and Jalen Smalls. Raejon came up with a big interception and Jalen Smalls provided some big hits. The offense was paced by Marice Johnson Jr. who ran all over the field. Up next is the Trojans travel to Council Rock North HS next Friday (7pm kickoff). Come out and support the Trojans!
