"Today was a great day for our team. Council Rock South is a great team and we had to really fight hard to beat them." said CB South coach Kurt Godfrey. "We certainly didn't start the day off right. We fell behind by a lot in the first set but I tried to keep our girls calm and just get them to dig back in little by little. I am so proud of all of our girls today! I think we are finally starting find our identity and starting to realize what we can do when everyone does their job. Allie Burke had another huge day for us and Lizzie, our setter, quarterbacked our offense perfectly today! We were all over on defense and were able to get a couple lucky breaks too. CR South is a good team and they are going to give a lot of people trouble. It will definitely be another battle when we go to play them at their place."
