Central Bucks West Comments
Beat Spring Ford tonight 3-1. It was a great win.
We were finally able to finish some of our chances tonight. Ryan Fitzsimmon’s opened the scoring from a pass from her sister Erin, she beat a defender and placed a great ball into the net.
A few minutes later, Ryan beat a couple girls down the right hand side and hit a laser from 18 yards out that the keeper had no chance to save.

The third goal came on a great individual effort from Taylor Moyer beating their left back and serving a great ball to Alex Craine who netted her 5th goal of the season. We took a 3-0 lead into half.

I was wondering how we were going to come out in the second half. Being up 3-0 I didn’t want any sort of let down.

Spring Ford definitely picked up their intensity in the second half. They have a lot of talent on that side. We held down the fort to get a great 3-1 win.

I thought we got great minutes tonight from Kyra LaLena, Mariella Neri, and Keely McGlone. We played a different formation tonight and I let Trish Hauck just roam the middle of the field. Her and Meghan Gallagher were tremendous and our goalie Jenna Abazza is starting to find her groove.

We have a couple days now until we face Pennridge. We know they are the best team in our conference and one of the best teams in the state. They are rolling teams this year and we need to see how we match up. We’re looking forward to the challenge.
