In a back in forth win with an amazing crowd, north penn girls volleyball wins a thriller in five sets.
Led defensively by Senior Libero Francesca Dolan and Senior Defensive Specialist Diana Pissut. Dolan led the team with 20 digs and Pissut lead the team in passing with an impressive 2.15 average.
Offensively the Knights were led by Senior setter Emily Cooper with a .412 hitting%, 7 kills and 10 assists. Junior OH Natalie Wernly added 10 kills.
Coach Scott Coles “both teams played with heart and energy. Abington is well coached and has a very good team. We were able to feed off the energy of an amazing crowd and our defense stepped up to a big challenge against a very good Abington offense. I am so proud of our team growing this early in the season and finding a way to win.”
