Springfield(M) Lady Spartans at Plymouth Whitemarsh
Recent Lady Colonial woes continued- PW had to put the gloves on
Megan McCreesh to make her first carrer start as a Goalie due to
injuries from No. 1 goalie Alison Melvin and No. 2 goalie Jenna Kalman.
In the first half, Annie Crudele scored on an over-the -head shot over
McCreesh for a 1-0 Springfield(M0 lead. In the second half, McCreesh
stopped a Tierney Carabba penalty kick, but Carabba would later get a
strike for a 2-0 lead, and Julia Boles was able to preserve the 2-0
shutout for the Lady Spartans over host Plymouth Whitemarsh.
