North Penn is a talented, well-coached team who played hard until the final whistle. Both teams played well with CB South holding the advantage in shots (10-5) and North Penn holding a decided advantage in penalty corners (13-3). CB South's defensive corner team did an excellent job of breaking up North Penn's powerful corners. Even though CB South could only draw 3 corners, the first corner resulted in a goal. Freshman, Anna Shirley scored her first varsity goal on a tipped corner shot by Mel Dunton. Dunton also assisted on the second goal, by sophomore Sophia Wasyliw. Casey Reilly rounded out the scoring when she wove through the North Penn defense and lifted a beautiful shot into the goal.

Both teams played a great game.
