The Quakertown Panthers competed against Pennridge HS yesterday on their 4K (2.4 miles) course. The BOYS placed their TOP 5 in the TOP 13 but it wasn't enough to overcome Pennridge's TOP 5 as the Panthers came up short 15-50!!! Led by SENIORS Nick Yeatman (15:16) and Logan Brezner (15:39), with JUNIOR Sam Barndt (15:54), SENIOR Paul Hand (15:55), and FRESHMAN John Juszynski (15:57) rounding out the TOP 5.
In the GIRLS race, the Panthers lost by the same score, 15-50, led by SOPHOMORE Emily Maceri (19:55), followed by JUNIOR Ashlyn Hickey (20:21), SOPHOMORES Paige Daugherty (20:45), Holly Smith (20:53), and Rylie Murphy (21:21).
The PANTHERS next compete this Saturday at the Paul Short Invitational held at Lehigh University.
