Senior Night: all eligible seniors played for the first half- Led by Senior captain Emma Pizzullo, Taylor Ponak, Diana Kahindo, Marianna Oliveries, supported by Seniors on the injured list Who together sang the National Anthem : Goalie Amanda Tuley and Suzie Njunge. It’s amazing I how many ways you can contribute and support your team. We started off the goal scoring off a corner play that ended with Fallon Grandinetti with assist from Captain Halle Fredrick. LC answered back quickly with a break away and one on one with our goalie. We went on to score 2 more goals Halle Fredrick with a corner shot, assisted by Angela Harbeck. And a solo goal by Lauren Junker. It was a well fought game by both teams. The girls worked together and in my opinion dominated the game, we gave up many free hits but capitalized on finishing opportunities in the circle, while LC was unable to. Both teams played for the full 60min and there was certainly time in the game where it could have gone either way.
