We played a really strong first half, both teams having six shots on goal. We were able to collectively stifle and contain Abington’s attack, and put together a counter attack. We had really strong defensive showing today—tremendous play by Jaclyn Martino our goalie, Maddie Gerlach, Megan O’Donnell, Kaiya Herb and Chloe Leiter.
We were able to create some dangerous opportunities but we just couldn’t finish today. There was definitely more to this match than what the scoreboard showed. I am proud of the effort of my girls.
