I thought today’s game was really a game of two halves , we were extremely fortunate to be winning at half time, I thought Tennent had more of the ball, they were more aggressive and were in control . Our first goal was off a corner kick from Sammy Judge, it was a good service that bounces around inside the six and Kaleigh O’Donnell managed to get the last touch. Our second goal was very nice, Anna Cairone played a great ball out wide for Maddy Nusca who found Marisa Hsu with a cross for an easy finish. Although we were up at half we challenged the girls to raise the intensity in the second half and match the aggressiveness and speed of Tennent. The girls rose to the challenge and probably played their best 45 minutes of the season. The quality of play combined with the work rate was very pleasing for us to see. A number of players really stood out in the second half today, I thought Kaleigh O’Donnell, Anna Cairone, Abby Kollar and Brooke Strobel were very good today.
