Hatboro-Horsham Comments
Going into Tuesday nights game all HH had on their mind was beating Abington and thats exactly what they did. I have never seen so much heart and grit in a game like I did tonight by the Lady Hatters. The whole entire team stepped up and played the best game they have played all year. Abington is a great well coached team and was undefeated in the league going into tonight's game. We knew it was going to be a good match from the first time we played them and I know after we lost to them the first time the girls were very disappointed. But I told them to take all that out on the field the second time we play them and thats exactly what they did. Sophia Liott was great in the air and winning every 50/50 ball. Cam Ryan and Rachael Petrowski stepped up and shut down their two top players. Our offense was making opportunities that resulted in Maggie O'Neill finding the back of the net from Kara Thomas. My whole defense stepped up today and Martine Royds was able to get a shutout on the top team in the division tonight and came up with huge saves to keep the Hatters on top. This was an amazing team & program win and I am so excited for my team. Hatters will face PW Thursday at HH for the last regular season game
