CENTRAL BUCKS WEST SOFTBALL PREVIEW

Coach:  Geoff Thompson – 4^th year

Last year’s record:  Overall 14-7, League 5-7, 1^ST District One playoff appearance in 16 years

Notable losses:  Angelina Sherba (Longwood Univ. Softball), Sam Trafford (Kutztown Softball), Julia Perez

Key returners:  Grace Dryden – SS, Maddie Leatherbarrow, OF

Others to watch:  Kayla Gallagher – P, Ella Castronuovo – 1B

Strengths:  Pitching w/ Kayla Gallagher and Soph. Sara Yoder

Question Marks:  Hitting and leadership, it will tough to fill the shoes of last years seniors but the team has a great attitude so far.

Outlook:  “The team wants to return to the playoffs once again and continue the success from last year.  We have a very positive group that works hard in practice and supports one another.”
