Last year’s record:  15-5 overall (11-3 in conference)

Strengths:  Experience.  We have a strong core of returning players that will help some of the younger players in our program.  They’ve been through conference playoffs and that should help with the transition into our new conference. 

Question Marks:  Depth.  Ability to handle tougher competition this year.

Outlook:  “There’s going to be an adjustment period for our players as we get comfortable in the Continental Conference.  We’ll be facing much stiffer competition.  How our players react to that is going to be the key to our success.  Up and down the lineup, we have the talent to compete.  Our success will come down to pitching and our ability to make basic plays.”
