PENNRIDGE 3, SOUDERTON 2 (16-25, 14-25, 25-23, 25-21, 15-9)
The Indians won the first two sets in relatively convincing fashion, but then the Rams came to life, rallying to win the next three.
Ryan Benscoter’s 20 kills led the Rams at the net. Danny Rutter (six kills, 13 digs, seven aces), Ethan Lionetti (six kills, 10 digs) and Tommy Cassel (eight digs, three aces) also made important contributions. Setter Austin Jalosinski had 30 assists, three blocks and eight digs.
For the Indians, Aidan Wunderly (12 kills, 10 digs) and Jimmy Wert (10 kills, three blocks) led the attack. Setter Luke Pagan had 27 assists, two aces and three blocks, while Luke Hess (14 digs) and Riley Finger (12 digs) led the defense. Konnor Pierce had four blocks.
NORTH PENN 3, QUAKERTOWN 0 (25-9, 25-20, 25-10)
The Knights rolled to a sweep of the visiting Panthers.
Setter Drew Coles dished out 24 assists and also had four digs, two aces and one kill. Michael Wang (10 kill, four aces, four digs) and Evan Rothmann (nine kills, two aces, one block, three digs) led the Knights at the net. Zach Jayes led a strong service game with seven aces to go along with two kills and five digs. Also contributing were Kevin Abraham (three kills, two blocks, one dig), James Stewart (seven digs), Hari Patel (two kills, two assists) and Isaac Lambert (four kills, seven digs).
For the Panthers, Justin Flor had four kills and one block, and Ryan DiCandilo added three kills. Seth Wesley had two kills, Cameron Cronk added one kill and one ace, and Ty Fosbenner had one kill, nine assists and one ace.
CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, UPPER DUBLIN 0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-21)
The Patriots picked up their fifth win in conference play without a loss and upped their overall mark to 8-0.
The Patriots were led by the stellar play of Dylan Colbert (14 kills, six digs, one block), Steve Storm (33 assists, nine digs, one block), and Jacob LaBouliere (10 kills, three digs, two blocks). East’s defense was bolstered by Ryan Figus who notched 15 digs. Once again, the Patriots ran a strong middle as Christian Wolf added six kills and two blocks, and Thomas Gallagher-Teske matched him with six kills and four blocks. CJ Dalby contributed three kills and three blocks, and Jack Miller finished with three aces, and three digs.
CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, CENTRAL BUCKS SOUTH 0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-20)
The Bucks earned a sweep in Tuesday’s rivalry match against the visiting Titans.
For the Titans, Jon Zonshein led the offense with six kills and five digs. Mason Zeo led the defense with six digs to go along with two aces, three kills and an assist. First-year varsity player Ricky Cho had a consistent night and contributed four kills.

NESHAMINY 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0
The Redskins used a balanced attack to earn a sweep of the visiting Panthers.
Tony Camillo (12, kills, one ace, one block, eight digs), Matt Schwab (10 kills, one ace, four digs) and Jesse Marshall (eight kills, one ace, one dig, one block) led the Neshaminy attack. Setter Nick Storz had 27 assists, 10 digs and two kills. Jesse Kovaschetz led the defense with 12 digs, two aces and three assists. Also contributing were Paul Allen (two kills, nine digs) and Ben Clendening (one block).
BENSALEM 3, ABINGTON 0 (25-23, 25-20, 28-26)
The Owls traveled to Abington and earned a sweep of their hosts.
Paul Leible (12 kills, two blocks) and Basheer Ghafary (29 assists, two kills) had strong matches to lead the Owls. Ethan Fan (nine kills, even digs) and Shiv Patel (seven kills, eight digs) came up with some big kills late in the third set to clinch the victory, according to coach Tim Linehan. Jake Mottershead (11 digs), Kyle McVicar (two blocks) and Harsh Shah (12 digs) also made key plays for the Owls (4-6, 2-4 SOL).
For the Ghosts, Danny Gonzalez had 11 kills while Juan Perez and Mario Colavita each had five kills. Taulant Kurti had 21 assists. Kenny Wasekanes, Sean Dougherty and Danny Gonzalez each had nine digs.
COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, CHELTENHAM 0 (25-7, 25-8, 25-12)
The Indians received contributions up and down their lineup in Tuesday’s sweep of the visiting Panthers.
Connor Mooney-Moore led a balanced attack with five kills to go along with three assists, one dig and one ace. Nick Strivieri and Sean D’Arcy both had four kills. Strivieri also had five digs, three assists and one block while D’Arcy had two digs. Abe Eldo (13 digs) and Sean Mealey (nine digs) led the defense. Mealey also had three kills. Justin Burns led the Indians’ service game with six aces to go along with six digs and one kill. Nick Desautelle added two kills and two digs.
