The Hatters lost a nonleague contest against CB South on Thursday by a score of 7-5.

Sophomore starting pitcher Jimmy Tooley gave up 4 runs (1 earned) in his 3 innings of work on 3 hits and 2 walks while striking out 3. Junior Ram Krishnamoorthy took the loss. Krishnamoorthy gave up 3 runs, 2 earned, in 4 innings, while striking out 2 and allowing 4 hits and 3 walks.

Junior 2B Bradan Mallon led the Hatters offense going 2-4 with 2 RBI. Senior 3B Sean Gledhill was 1-2 with a double.

The loss dropped the Hatters to 9-3 overall. They’ll be back in action on Tuesday when they host the Upper Dublin Cardinals for the first game of the second half of the league season.
