Hatboro-Horsham defeated Springfield (M) 8-7 (6-6 at halftime). It was Hatboro-Horsham’s third consecutive night game. Springfield held a 5-3 advantage midway through the 1st half. The entire team refocused their efforts to play with an increased sense of urgency. The defense tightened and held Springfield to one goal in the second half. Senior Megan Acker made some key defensive plays including taking a charge to force a Springfield turnover. Arielle Hammer also made some key saves in the second half. The offense was able to maintain possession and score twice in the second half. The midfield of Juniors Gabrielle Liott, Cam Ryan and Freshman Sophia Liott dominated the draw winning 10 of 15 draw controls. Leading the Hatters in scoring was Cam Ryan - 4 goals, Audrey Leibfreid 2 goals, Gabrielle Liott had 1 goal and 2 assists and Abby Roesing with 1 goal.
