Madison Boltersdorf – Rosemont College (Soccer)

Major:  Art Therapy

Final list of colleges:  Rosemont, Lycoming

Reasons for choosing Rosemont:  “I chose Rosemont for the academics, and it was a smaller school so I thought it would help me stand out more.”

What was the progression that led you to playing soccer at the collegiate level?  “I always knew I wanted to play soccer in college, but I didn’t know if it was possible because college is expensive. Fortunately, I kept my grades up enough, so I got to play on a scholarship.”

Coach Mike McHugh says:  “Maddy was a four-year varsity starter for us. She was a very strong player who was not only a great field player but also a leader. She was captain of the team her senior year and also made honorable mention in the SOL National Conference. She loves the game of soccer. Technically, she’s a very strong player, and she’s very committed and dedicated, the kind of athlete you want on your team. She’ll be missed at Truman.”
