Dominic Tulio – Immaculata University (Lacrosse)
Major: Biology
Final list of colleges: Immaculata, Allegheny, Hood College, Cabrini
Reasons for choosing Immaculata: “Just because of the programs they have to offer and also their lacrosse program. The coach really made me like it – it was a real homey feel, especially with (coach) Niko Amato being a professional player. When I went there, he walked me through the whole playbook and everything like that, and it made me an instant fit.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in lacrosse at the collegiate level? “I started playing lacrosse in third grade, and it was after my freshman year that it was the sport I wanted to focus on and play in college.”
Coach Corey Kelly says: “Dominic Tulio will be attending Immaculata University playing long stick defender. Dominic has been a phenomenal leader. He was a senior captain this year, and he has been a great role model for the younger kids coming onto the team. He is a great student-athlete both on the field and off the field, and he is guiding our young guys in the right direction.”
