Julie Beedle – New York University (Soccer)

Major:  Undecided

Final list of colleges:  NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Mississippi State, Marist

Reasons for choosing NYU:  “I was really looking for a city school that had high academics and I could also play sports and be a student-athlete. NYU encompassed it all.”

What was the progression that led you to competing in soccer at the collegiate level?  “I always knew I wanted to go to school for soccer. I started getting recruited in ninth and 10th grades, so I always knew I was going to play soccer in college.”

Coach Paul Eisold says:  “When Julie was on the field and she was active, the girls really responded differently, and she was a major part of the game. She’s a very technical player and was a co-captain her senior year. She played center middie for us. She loved the game of soccer.”
