Madison Peifer – Susquehanna University (Swimming)
Major: Early Childhood Education
Final list of colleges: Susquehanna, TCNJ, Ursinus
Reasons for choosing Susquehanna: “They had my major, I loved the campus, the swim team and the coaches, and overall had a good feel.”
What was the progression that led you to competing in swimming at the collegiate level? “I started thinking about swimming college in freshman year when I really started to improve. The process started when I began to receive e-mails from coaches. It started to take flight when I got district qualifying times and broke a medley relay record. This is when I knew I wanted to continue to do what I love to do – swim.”
Coach Geoff Boodey says: “Madison is a very strong minded and determined swimmer. She is extremely tough and will swim her heart out in a wide range of events. She was for sure a key contributor to our team and scored many needed points for the high school. I’m excited for to see what she can accomplish in her next step in her swimming career.”
