Coach:  Rick Tompkins, 11th season.

Assistant coaches:  Mallory Mugnier, Kayla Nolan, Ashley Hopper, Gabbie Nolan (all former Lady Ghost players), Jason Weidner and Mike Kernaghan

Last year’s record:  13-1 SOL American Conference champions, 15-3 overall.

Notable losses:  We graduated 11 players, including PA Gatorade Player of the Year, SOL American Conference player of the year and All-State player Camryn Lexow, who is playing at the University of Virginia. Kailey Horton, also an all-state player and first team all conference player is continuing her soccer career at Drexel University. In addition to those two standouts, we graduated  starters Arianna Mancini, an all-league defender, midfielder, Elizabeth Tracey, and goalkeeper, Ashley Hopper. Key contributors Elizabeth Pohle, Kaeleigh Serianni, Bella Azcona, Samantha Campbell, Kayla Taylor, and Christina Peachey also graduated.

Key returners:  Captains Casey Touey, a junior forward, Emily Friel, a senior defender and senior stalwart Riley Crabtree, a four-year starter on our back line.

Players to watch:  Abby Bautista, a defensive midfielder and Olivia Oliphant in goal.

Outlook:  “Abington expects to contend for the conference crown again despite the loss of so many key players. The coaches are encouraging this year's squad to match the intensity and quality of last year's team.”
