Strengths/Question Marks: Strong Defense and Goal Keeping lead the way. Replacing Pursel’s soccer acumen and Gluck’s scoring is catamount to having success.
Outlook: “Melina Jagiello is a four- year starter at center back and has been instrumental in the team success enjoyed her freshman and sophomore year. She has been paired with Jr. Kori Pursel the past two seasons, and they have formed a strong wall on the backline. Jefferson University commit Sam Barkholz and fellow senior Haley Hangey provide experience in the midfield. Morgan Sipprell had a strong season as a sophomore last year in goal and looks to continue her upward trajectory. Four freshman (Abel, Calvanese, Calabria and Sipprell) will push returners for playing time and bode well for the future of the program.”
