We definitely weren't at our best today but a lot of that was down to the play of CE. They created turnovers and capitalized on our indecision and mistakes. We started slow and they scored first but we were able to hit back with two good finishes from Alyssa Lanigan. CE tied the game up late in the first half with a long range shot and we were tied at half time.
In the second half we gained some composure and focus and we were able to control the game. Paige Addis scored on a scrum in the box and Sammy Judge hit a long range 4th goal. Grace Needham and Sarah Khantzian combined for 6 saves in total.
Although we didn't play the way we wanted, getting the victory was important. We will get back to practice tomorrow and be ready for another league game on Thursday.
