Sterling Limo Player of the Week
Tamir Berthau, Abington – The senior quarterback was 7-for-9 for 149 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 151 yards and a 
touchdown, accounting for 300 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in Abington’s 38-13 win over Neshaminy.
Coach Kevin Conlin says: “Tamir has always been a great runner, but what has set him apart is his ability as a quarterback this season. Versus Neshaminy he was 7-for-9 for 149 yards and ran for another 151. He has improved his accuracy and really focused on becoming a much more efficient quarterback. One of our main goals for the season that we focused on was staying away from negative yard plays and making sure we stay away from third-and-long, which was a major problem for us last year. He really has been our leader offensively this season.”
Sterling Limo Offensive Player of the Week
Tristan Hulme (TE), Ryan McKenna (RT), Jackson Spradlin (RG), Michael Cuozzo (C), Joe Trimbur/Drew Weisman (LG), Will Russel (LT), Central Bucks West – The offensive line paved the way for a monster rushing performance that saw the Bucks pile up 300 yards on the ground in Central Bucks West’s 35-0 win over Pennridge.
Coach Rob Rowan says: “Our offensive line is the heart and soul of our team and our program. We pride ourselves on our line play and executing physically in the trenches. They are a very tight-knit group and take immense pride in their role on this team. They resemble what you want in an offensive line as they are tough, humble, and compete every play. They have been the catalyst for us rushing for 314 yards per game and 26 touchdowns through six games. We challenge them weekly to put the game on their backs and up to this point they have answered the bell.”
Nick Guthre, Souderton – The senior running back was a difference maker in the second half of Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks 
East, scoring all three of his team’s touchdowns after the intermission. He finished with 141 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, and he also had two receptions for 43 yards and a TD.
Coach Ed Gallagher says: " Nick Guthre is having an outstanding season thus far. He has embraced his move to fullback, taking advantage of the extra carries to showcase his running abilities. We still utilize him as a receiver in some sets, so he has been putting up great numbers so far. Nick's attitude and leadership have been exemplary this season."
Sterling Limo Defensive Player of the Week
Tyler Fasti, Central Bucks West– The junior defensive lineman kept constant pressure on the quarterback and was a catalyst on defense in Central Bucks West’s 35-0 win over Pennridge, finishing with 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble on a night that saw the Bucks’ defense limit the Rams to less than a hundred yards of total offense.
Coach Rob Rowan says: “Tyler impacted play in a tremendous way last week at Pennridge with 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He also makes plays that do not show up on the stat sheet in his willingness to do his job defensively that are sometimes more impressive then the attention plays. He is the type of player that empties his tank every play and is as coachable as they come. He continues to get better week by week and as a staff we are excited to watch him continue to grow and develop into an impact player.”
Sterling Limo Special Teams Players of the Week
Will Leyland, Souderton – The Indians’ senior was 5-for-5 on PATs and added a 39-yard field goal in Souderton’s
38-24 win over Central Bucks East. He also had three touchbacks on kickoffs.
Coach Ed Gallagher says: “Will Leyland is an absolute weapon in all three phases of the kicking game. He has been perfect thus far on extra points, puts over 50 percent of his kickoffs in the end zone, and his punting has improved greatly since last season. His ability is greatly enhanced by his work ethic - Will spends countless hours practicing all of his kicks and working on his flexibility. He's setting himself up for a bright future in a fortunate collegiate program.”
TJ Troxell, Upper Moreland – The senior cornerback/wide receiver ran the second half kickoff back 82 yards for a touchdown that gave Upper Moreland a 24-7 lead on its way to a 38-26 win over Hatboro-Horsham. He also had 58 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Coach CJ Szydlik says: “TJ returned the second half kickoff 82 yards for a touchdown. It was a huge play in a really big game. He has six receiving touchdowns, one interception and a fumble recovery this year.”

Caleb Baker, Abington – The junior wide receiver caught four passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns in Abington’s 38-13 win over Neshaminy.
Nate Edwards, Cheltenham – The senior wide receiver had three catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns in Cheltenham’s 41-7 win over Upper Dublin.
Aonghas Evanick, Souderton – The junior defensive tackle had eight tackles – two for loss – in Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks East.
Jack Fallon, Central Bucks West – The senior running back had 18 carries for 162 yards (9.0 ypc) and two touchdowns in Central Bucks West’s 35-0 win over Pennridge.
Gabe Franczyk, Springfield Township – The junior quarterback threw for 148 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 48 yards and a TD in Springfield Township’s 54-7 win over Bristol.
DeJuan Harris & TJ Rogers, Harry S Truman – The dangerous duo combined for six touchdowns in Harry S Truman’s 49-20 win over Council Rock North. Harris had five rushing TDs for the second time in as many games.
Byron Hopkins, Upper Moreland – The sophomore quarterback had 136 rushing yards on 18 carries and also completed 6-of-10 passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns in Upper Moreland’s 38-26 win over Hatboro-Horsham.
Jake Horton, Souderton – The junior linebacker had 13 tackles, including two tackles for loss, in Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks East.
Adonis Hunter, Cheltenham – The senior quarterback completed 5-of-8 passes for 230 yards and two touchdowns in Cheltenham’s 41-7 win over Upper Dublin. He also had 22 rushing yards and a TD.
Chris James, Neshaminy – The junior running back had 118 rushing yards and a touchdown in Neshaminy’s 38-13 loss to Abington.
Tyler Merwarth, Quakertown – The junior running back had 10 carries for 64 yards and three touchdowns – one receiving and two rushing – in one half of action in Quakertown’s 55-7 win over Wissahickon.
Jack Neri, Central Bucks West – The senior quarterback was 8-for-10 for 100 yards and a touchdown and also had 50 rushing yards on 10 carries in Central Bucks West’s 35-0 win over Pennridge.
Tom Santiago, William Tennent – The senior running back had 114 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries in William Tennent’s 28-11 loss to Central Bucks South.
Ian Sheehan, Neshaminy – The senior wide receiver had six receptions for 161 yards and a touchdown in the first half before being sidelined with an injury in Neshaminy’s 38-13 loss to Abington.
Ethan Smerecki, Souderton – The senior linebacker had 10 tackles in Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks East.
Andrew Vince, Souderton – The senior safety – who also led the Indians at quarterback - had 11 tackles in Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks East. He threw for 72 yards and a touchdown.
DeAndre Wakefield, Souderton – The senior running back had nine carries for 141 rushing yards and two touchdowns in Souderton’s 38-24 win over Central Bucks East.
Ryan Zeltt, North Penn – The freshman quarterback put up big numbers in one half of action that saw the Knights put 36 points on the board in their 36-0 win over Council Rock South. Zeltt completed 11-of-15 passes for 196 yards and three touchdowns in the opening half.
