SOL National Conference

 

COUNCIL ROCK NORTH 3, COUNCIL ROCK SOUTH 0

The Indians won in straight sets over their neighboring rival, but this night – Rock North’s annual Dig Deep fundraiser - was about a whole lot more than volleyball. Over $2,000 was raised for the Healing Consciousness Foundation, which helps cancer patients with mental recovery.

Ashleigh Adams led the Indians with 12 kills, four aces and 14 digs, and Mary Baniewicz had eight kills, four aces and eight digs. Cora Lake had seven kills while Julia Walton had five kills, four digs and a block. Abby Jones finished with four kills and one block. Kylie Tinner (16 assists, eight digs) and Sydney White (11 assists, six digs) split setting duties. Mikayla Adams contributed nine digs and three assists, and Sabrina Pasemann had one kill, two blocks and two digs.

 

CENTRAL BUCKS EAST 3, WILLIAM TENNENT 0

The Bucks earned a sweep over an improved Tennent squad.

“This was a great win for us,” coach Kerri Rabberman said. “It was fantastic to see the girls play together and having fun.”

Setter Anna Ritter had 19 assists, five kills and eight digs. Vivien Agassi led a balanced attack with 11 kills, two aces and three digs. Maddy Lacouture added five kills while Caroline Eldringhoff had four kills and two blocks. Morgan D’Angelo led the defense with 11 digs and two aces. Abby Killough added two aces and six digs. Chloe Mettille had five digs. Kaylynn Bryan (three kills) and Aimee Wolf (two kills) also contributed at the net.

 

CENTRAL BUCKS WEST 3, BENSALEM 0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-19)

Setter Ana Claricurzio (18 assists, four aces, two blocks, seven digs) spread the ball around in the Bucks’ sweep of the Owls. Jada Reichwein’s six kills led the Bucks. She also had one ace and two digs. Naomi Woo, Maggie McCusker and Emily Holyk each had four kills. Woo also had six blocks and two digs while McClusker had an ace and a block. Holyk had a pair of blocks.

For the Owls, Crystal Dang played well, contributing 14 assists. Sydney Bawuah (six kills), Maddie Buechner (five kills) and Emma LoStracco (seven digs) also made important contributions for the Owls.

 

SOL American Conference

 

PLYMOUTH WHITEMARSH 3, PENNRIDGE 1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20)

The Colonials handed the Rams their first conference loss.

Outside hitter Aja Smith was unstoppable at the net, finishing with 29 kills to go along with 15 digs and one ace. Libero Sophia Repholz led the defense with 25 digs. She also had 10 assists and one ace. Rylie Watton (16 assists, 15 digs, one ace) and Suzie Bergin (nine assists, nine digs, one ace) shared setting duties.

 

HATBORO-HORSHAM 3, SOUDERTON 0 (25-13, 25-18, 25-14)

The Hatters earned a sweep of the Indians in conference play.

For the Indians, Amelia Hanson led the defense with 14 digs and two kills. Setter Maya Hanson had eight assists, one kill, one block and five digs. Hana Ekecs added 10 digs and one ace. Alyssa Reiner had four kills, two blocks, four digs and an ace, and Liv Horas had three aces, one kill, one block and three digs.
